New Teaching Artist Spotlight
We are excited to announce that Emily Murray has joined our Teaching Artist team! Emily received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education from California State University Chico. Combining her love of art and children, she has been teaching for the past thirteen years both locally and internationally. She teaches a variety of art mediums including painting, drawing, mixed-media, printmaking, ceramics, and photography. She places particular emphasis on the process of making art while teaching techniques and taping into each individual child’s creativity. The majority of her career has been spent teaching in the non-profit world and she enjoys bringing art to children that otherwise would not have access to these opportunities.
Emily teaches a weekly visual arts class at the Westside Boys & Girls Club.

Arts for Humanity! proudly presents Trudy Bixby and Oscar Maynez!
Trudy and Oscar have been playing music together professionally for the past 19 years. Their passion lies in serving the senior community in Santa Barbara, using their music as a healing modality; lifting spirits, rekindling memories, and stirring emotions. Trudy's voice and Oscar's guitar accompaniment take listeners on a journey through time with their renditions of beloved and familiar jazz standards.
Arts for Humanity! is grateful to Trudy & Oscar for their dedication to our organization and for sharing their gifts.
